Complete at last. 5 years in the making the loco is complete at last. All that is left now is to run it at the club track.

Before Starting the pipework I have modified the building frame to enable me to lift the loco off its wheels and turn over to access the underside. I will now be able to think out the grate and ashpan setup

Starting to look like a proper loco with the cab in place. The painting will have to wait for warmer weather and I will press on with the pipework in the mean time.

Due to the large size of this model it will not fit in the workshop so resides on its lifting table in the garage. Due to the cold weather this winter it is to cold to work in the garage for long, so I have set about making the cab in the warm of the workshop with quick spurts to the garage to check if things fit.
The cab is all but finished now and still to cold for the garage, so I have started to modify the building frame in order to allow the lifting and turning of the loco as the next stage will be to start the pipe work.
